Our Company

We are an IT company headed up and staffed by people who speak clearly and with just the right amount of geek, some of us are even girls. We have been in this business for 9 years, IT for twenty. We bring our business experience and our passion for IT (yes, that is true) and dedicate it to our IT cause. And we are obsessed with customer service, you MUST be happy.

We invest in our systems and focus on our customers. We value feedback and act on it and we try to understand the role of IT in each business we work with. We enjoy our work, and believe that this attitude makes all the difference.

The team

Warren Pountain - Director

Warren Pountain started the business as a sole trader in 2000. Prior to this Warren worked in the printing and publishing sector as a Technical Director. Warrens core skill is his down to earth approach to IT in business and the importance he places on customer service, fair pricing and quality of technical service..

Simon Buckner - Technical Director

Simon Buckner joined the company as Technical Director in 2002. Simon literally lives and breathes all things technical. Simon has worked in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support roles over the last 15 years in both the public and private sectors and is qualified a Microsoft Professional with more than a keen interest in open sources software and Linux. His expertise and depth of knowledge are his core strengths but it is his ability to implement them that makes this IT expert truly useful. Simon is our researcher and developer.

Ian Fermer - Senior Support Engineer

Ian joined us last year bringing with him a serious interest in technology, vast amounts of expertise and experience. Ian is a certified Microsoft and CITRIX Engineer. He wanted to work with a forward thinking company that wanted to make the most of new technologies and be at the forefront of IT developments, which is why he chose to work for Onebyte, so we are very pleased to have him.

Marc Bond – Support Engineer

Marc joined us this year, and is srating from the ground up. We asked Marc to join the company after an intensive 6 week trial and 3 month probation, which he passed with flying colours. Marc may have a real interest and flair for IT but he also has a great way with customers. We are really happy to have him on board.

Katie Pountain - Marketing Manager

Katie Pountain helps develop the business, focusing efforts on marketing and customer service. Katie has been a marketing manager for an international blue chip brand, a regional newspaper group and part of the marketing team for an international events group, so brings plenty of experience and an interest in all non-technical aspects of business.
